About the Artist...
Valerie lives in Fairplay, Colorado and is a stay at home mom to a daughter born early 2004 and a son born late 2005.
Valerie spent 6 years in event management before having the opportunity to move to the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado and stay home with her children. In early 2006 she went on a trip to Arizona to visit her Grandma "E". On that trip she bought a pair of shoes and some paint as something a fun project for her daughter. She painted her first pair of shoes, bright green with butterflies. Her daughter loved them and has been wearing them since. It was then that an idea was born! Valerie sold over 40 pair her first month of marketing these shoes. The response was so great she decided to create a website for everyone to view these shoes and contact her for orders.
Staying at home to raise your children is full time job. However it is not a job that provides big paychecks. My Wee Feet has given Valerie the opportunity to stay home and create an income while raising and caring for her two children herself.
